Since 2005, swimming pools must be secured by a device meeting the requirements of standards NF P 90-306,307,308 or 309. Alkira’s sliding decks all comply with standard NF P 90-308 which relates to pool covers. Your swimming pool is therefore perfectly protected according to the guidelines of the Swimming Pool Safety Act.

How Does The Technology Work?
The wood deck is placed on an aluminium structure which supports a weight of approx. 250kg/m2 – also keeping the pool water protected from inclement weather and air pollution. We use polyamide wheels chosen for their ease of use in the sliding of the deck. When fully installed you will only be 20cm higher than the ground when standing on your new pool deck. An optional motorised solar solution guarantees the decks independent power supply. Security is key to the design, the deck can be locked in position using the built-in aluminium bolts. The deck complies with safety standard NF P 90 308

Self-assembly
We ship the aluminum structure (without decking material) in kit form along with an installation manual.
Two people can assemble it over a weekend. Our sliding aluminium decks are designed to be mounted quickly and simply.
As necessary, our support team can help you.
Option Two
Frame installation (without decking)
We install the aluminum structure to your pool and then leave you to complete the installation by adding the decking of your choice.
Option Three
Complete installation
This is the most complete option in which our teams will mount the aluminum structure and will install the decking materials of your choice on it.
Your project will be completed, and your pool will be protected.
All you will have to do is to enjoy your new terrace, once our work is done and our team has left.
